Poem: Betrayal

Swooped in like a savior

Only to change behavior

Once were so loving

Then just demanding

Seemed like you cared

But never were fair

You kick me when I’m down

Laugh at me like a clown

Call me psycho to your friends

For protesting your shenanigans

You talk to men behind my back

When I complain you just attack

Treat me like I’m just an option

While pretending you are awesome

Neglected my wants and needs

Sowing the relationship with weeds

Telling everyone that you’re loyal

When all you’ve given is betrayal
