Poem: Boardwalk

Sun trying to burn bare flesh.

While ocean breeze blows in fresh.

Smells, some sour and others sweet.

Similar to the fates we meet.

The Boardwalk offers many things.

With ocean views, the stuff of dreams.

Some here to laugh with their friends.

Others with more carnal ends.

Volleyballs, Soccer, boats, bikinis.

Nachos, corn dogs, beers, martinis.

But I came for something different.

To soak up nature, be one with it.

Let the beauty of our diverse land.

Meld with my spirit to make it grand.
